RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi referred to the defeat of the Americans in “Operation Eagle Claw” in Tabas, saying this incident was a message to us that the hand of God is supporting the Islamic Revolution and Iran’s Islamic system of government.
“If we belittle ourselves in face of the imperialist powers, they will have greater expectations and will seek to influence us in various areas,” he added.
Ayatollah Sa’idi said that when the imperial powers spoke of Iran having a nuclear bomb, we proved that their claim was a lie, adding: “months have passed since the JCPOA was implemented and [Barack] Obama and [John] Kerry have admitted that Iran has fulfilled all its obligations but the obligations of the West are still on paper.”
His Eminence referred to the “criminal” US Supreme Court ruling to seize frozen Iranian assets and transfer them to the families of the victims of a 1983 bombing in Beirut, saying: “This is part of their plan to interfere in Iranian affairs. These are the same people who claim that tomorrow is a world of discourse and not a world of rockets.”
Qom’s Friday prayer leader stressed: “Our enemies are unfaithful and because of their unfaithfulness, the JCPOA has failed and has imposed costs on our Islamic system and we have not yet made use of it and now the American’s have made an issue over our missile tests.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi said the imperial powers use the “pathetic and unfair” issue of human rights against Iran, saying that “The Leader said that the enemies will not stop their oppression and only way to stand up to their greed and deceit is through resistance.”
In conclusion, the renowned scholar said: “We cannot allow the melody of the humiliating ideal of compromise and negotiations to shrivel up the strong and robust tree of the Islamic Resistance and the Islamic Republic of Iran is the only life-saving prescription for resistance against the American oath-breakers.”
